View of Gulick's Wharf at Benicia from the bay. Shows John Gulick's Wells Fargo agency housed in the Gulick Brother's Knickerbocker Emporium building (center). On the far side of the wharf are the docks of the Pacific Mail Steamship Company. A half-sunken whaler appears in the foreground at the right.
