Description
Photograph caption dated March 31, 1956 reads, "Sprinters Dick Falck, left, and Bill Souza of the title-aspiring Notre Dame Knight's [sic] show how they get away from the blocks in 100-yard dash. Falck's injury during the St. Anthony meet this week stalled Notre Dame's drive towards the Catholic League spike championship as it was held to a 52-52 tie. However, the Knights are still undefeated in dual meet competition. Both Souza and Falck also take part in the broad jump." Notre Dame High School is in Sherman Oaks.
