Photograph caption dated November 12, 1957 reads "Mrs. Gordon H. Gadbury, Stagg Street PTA Community Chest chairman, accepts 31st District PTA perpetual trophy which was won by Stagg Street PTA volunteers on basis of Nov. 5 results when they led with 70 per cent of their quota realized. On hand for presentation are Mrs. Manuel B. Wells, 31st District PTA chairman, and Mrs. Boude C. Moore, Mid-Valley Council chairman for Chest campaign. Trophy will be rotated each day during campaign to school with highest percentage of quota. At end of campaign it will be awarded to school which scores highest percent of quota." Stagg Street Elementary School is in Van Nuys.
