Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated July 22, 1963 reads, "In a major expansion program, the oldest private technical school in Southern California specializing in electronics training has moved to 18758 Bryant St., Northridge, from downtown Los Angeles. The relocation was made to be centrally located in the area where the electronic industry is rapidly concentrating. Among a large group attending the flag raising ceremonies at the new Valley home of the institute, were Al Freidricks, industrial analyst, State Employment office in Van Nuys; Ed. Baum, West Coast manager of Electronics Industry Association; Bob Merritt, deputy sheriff of Northridge; Ethel Narvid, representing Congressman James Corman (D-22nd Dist.); Lloyd Steele, assistant regional supervisor of Trade and Industrial Education, State Department of Education; Dr. Dallas Livingston-Little, employment director, Valley Junior College; Ted Duffy, assistant supervisor regional field representative, Bureau of Readjustment Education; Towson MacLaren, president of Northridge Chamber of Commerce; Ralph Pile, manager placement division, Van Nuys State Employment office; H. R. 'Larry' Seaman, assistant to the president of Western Electronics Institute, and George I. Alagna, president."
