Chief of Police James E. Davis and his champion pistol team are proudly displaying the President Rodriguez trophy they won recently in the Mexican Olympics at Mexico City. They won the trophy, a bronze statue, in a match with Mexico's crack police pistol team. Photo shows the Los Angeles team from left to right: Sgt. M. E. Wheeler, Officer J. J. Engbrecht, Chief Davis, holding the trophy, and Officers L. J. Young and R. J. Nowka.
