Photograph article dated December 28, 1960 partially reads, "Police today investigated the possibility that a defective heating unit caused a near-tragedy Tuesday when six members of one family were overcome by fumes in their North Hollywood apartment above a funeral parlor...All were rushed unconscious to Valley Doctors Hospital, North Hollywood...A doctor who examined the family at the hospital said they all seemed to be suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning."
