Brown wax cylinder. Home recording announcement before first song: "There's a girl in the heart of Maryland, sung by Harold D. Moore, accompanied by A.J. Parney." Announcement before second song: "You've got your mothers's big blue eyes." Harold D. Moore, vocals ; A.J. Parney, piano. This appears to be a Columbia brown wax commercial cylinder from the late 1890's that was shaved and then recorded over (100 rpm ca. 4 min) at least a decade or so later; songs "There's girl in the heart of Maryland" and "You've got your mother's big blue eyes" followed by recitation of Rudyard Kipling's poem "The Road to Mandalay"--recording cuts off before end of poem.
