Description
Photograph of the junction at Main Street, Spring Street, and 9th Street, Los Angeles, ca.1917. Main Street and Spring Street begin to span outward creating a triangular shaped block (center). A majority of the building along these streets is approximately three-stories or taller. There is a fountain in the island situated in the middle of the large multi-directional intersection. The streets are crowded with pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
