Description
Bebe Moore Campbell discusses her book, “Singing in the Comeback Choir.” Campbell describes the character, Maxine, who is the executive producer of a talk show in California. She talks about her grandmother, and children who have to take care of their parents and children. Campbell also describes a network of friends and their lives. She goes on to discuss African Americans in the recording industry, the women in her family, writing, and her young male characters.
