Photograph caption dated May 25, 1956 reads, "Mrs. Effie J. Carroll, instructor at Newhall Seventh-Day Adventist Elementary School, accepts file of travel brochures from John F. Knipschild, education director of Southland Seventh-Day Adventist schools. Brochures will be 'textbooks' for 22-state summer tour she will take to gain college credit in social sciences."
