Description
In this audio recording Peter F. Drucker interviews Vincent P. Slatt in his audio book, “The Nonprofit Drucker.” This tape is part of the series, “Performance and Results.” Drucker begins by introducing Slatt as the co-manager of of an electric company in Spokane, Washington. Slatt talks about how to diversify new branches of an organization. He describes how public service institutions work together to make money using government loans. He describes his own experience as a manager, and relates how his company elects and interacts with board members. Slatt talks about how to keep the board updated on weekly events and statistics. He ends the interview by discussing how co-ops work versus traditional businesses.
