Description
Plates in: Mulholland, "The pay roll town of the San Fernando Valley", pg. 32-33.
View 1 (ca0613). On this page and the one opposite the pictures are of peculiar interest. This one was taken in 1905 and shows a young orange orchard. Mr. Widney of the firm of Lenz & Widney is seen standing in the grove -- view 2 (ca0614). On the next is a picture of the same grove with the same man standing in the same spot, but the year is 1912. "15801".
Walter M. Lenz and Robert J. Widney, sales agents for project to develop town of Mulholland and Mulholland Hills in San Fernando Valley. Project developed by Mulholland Development Company, opened to public Nov. 10, 1912.
