Description
Photograph caption dated August 4, 1989 reads, "Two motorists suffered multiple injuries in the crash of eight vehicles, including a city-owned crane, during the morning rush hour yesterday on the Golden State Freeway near Griffith Park. The crane toppled over onto three cars, crushing them, blocking the three right-hand lanes and tying up traffic for hours after the 8:40 a.m. crash, the CHP reported." One of the motorists, Tae Lee, is seen uninjured on the far left.
