Photograph caption dated June 1, 1964 reads "Theodore Von der Ahe, left, recognized as the 'Outstanding Citizen' during the fifth annual Food Distribution dinner presented by students, alumni and participants at USC. Presenting the award was Richard Weber, president of the school's marketing fraternity, Pi Sigma Epsilon. Von Der Ahe is president of Von's Markets and one of the founders of the marketing school at USC."
