Photograph caption dated November 21, 1953 reads "Muzzle of death. Wicked snout of 90 mm gun points skyward over Valley. It and crew are part of D Battery (they call it Dog Battery) of 551st AAA battalion which recently took over protection of Valley. Four batteries are situated in Sepulveda Dam basin area, and are on 24-hour alert with live ammunition. 551st is unit of 47th AAA brigade of Fort MacArthur."; See images #00138179 through #00138182 for all photos in this series.
