Description
Toichiro Kawai (born Japan 1860 - died United States 1943), wearing a suit and standing, and Hama Ishiwatari (born Japan 1873 - died United States 1956), wearing a black dress and a pearl necklace and sitting. Mr. Kawai worked for Huntington and moved the Japanese house from the Marsh Japanese tea garden in Pasadena. He also was hired to build the bridge, Torii gates, and bell tower. On verso: Mr. Goto's old views.
