Description
Front: Pictured is the Pasadena Motorcycle Club in front of the Victor Marsh Block building (Architect - John Parkinson), located on the North East corner of Raymond Ave. and Green St. There are 32 bikes in the photograph and over 100 people. There are a few people posing in the upper windows of the building - in one window a woman and child, in another window a man is sitting partially out of the window. Under the window where the woman and child are posed is a sign which reads "Victor-Marsh." In the center of the photograph, on the corner of the block, is a very distinctive street lamp, around which the bikers are posed. Reverse: In pencil is written "J. R. Vore / Apr 28, 1911 / to Ventura & back / 163 miles / 8 hr 5 min". Stamped in purple is "GEO A. DASKAM / Photographer / Sunset 2210 / Pasadena, Cal."
