Annotation translation: "Two Germans have started farms in the Mbo plains, [an area] covered with 5m high elephant grass and surrounded by mountains. They have mainly concerned themselves so far with growing food to feed the thousands of carriers who go every month between the rail-head and the grassfields. Vollbehr Art Postcards Cameroon." Annotation: "Zwei Deutsche haben in der gewaltigen mit 5m hohem Elefantengras bestandenen und mit Gebirgen umgebenen Mboebene Farmen gegründet, um vorerst hauptsächlich die zur Verpflegung der Tausende von Trägern, die monatlich von der Gleisspitze ins Grasland wandern, nötigen Boden-Erzeugnisse zu gewinnen.' - 'Vollbehr-Künstlerpostkarten 'Kamerun'."
