Description
This work is attributed to John Stephen, M.D. who wishes to encourage the "French System" of manufacturing wines and spirits. Dr. Stephen wishes to encourage the safe manufacture of wines and spirits, avoiding the use of "noxious and poisonous adulterations." For each type of beverage he gives a general description and instructions, ending with recipes.
