Title supplied by cataloger. An introduction is given for a speaker at the West Los Angeles Regional Branch Library opening ceremony at 11360 Santa Monica Boulevard. The ceremony takes place at night inside the newly constructed regional branch library. A seated man modifies the sound from the microphone via electronic equipment placed on a chair next to him. Spectators crane for a view of the program in the children's section as some sit or stand behind a display of foreign picture books. The library was designed by Allison & Rible and constructed in 1956. Photograph dated: November 9, 1956.
