Description
"Shaowu campus" "29. Boy. life. 7/39" Four small boys in Chinese dress and caps play by the river. Two are on the bank, one holds a punt pole while standing on a wooden raft with a basket, and the fourth jumps from the raft to the shore. Trees at right, wooden fences, buildings and dam at rear.
Fukien Christian University had a refugee campus at Shaowu during the Sino-Japanese war.
