Description: The Reverend Dr. James Fifield (left), minister of First Congregational Church of Los Angeles, and The Reverend Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, guest minister, with a giant cake replica of First Congregational Church. The church was founded in 1867 and is observing its hundredth anniversary on July 23,1967. Dr. Fifield is retiring after 32 years as Senior Minister of the church.
