Description
Crowds jam Exposition Boulevard during stopover of the Freedom Train. More than 75,000 Angelenos--the greatest crowd ever, assembled to greet the train on its long and historic pilgrimage across the country. People jammed the sidewalks on Exposition Boulevard to welcome to town America's "national shrine on wheels." Photo dated: February 23, 1948.
