Photograph caption dated November 17, 1955 reads, "San Fernando residents and county officials honor district health center in San Fernando, first established in county, at ceremonies staged by Native Daughters of Golden West. Mrs. Norma Hodson, grand president, NDGW, awarded bronze plaque to center, established in December, 1926. It was accepted by William Keller, deputy for Supervisor Roger Jessup; Dr. Miriam Hubbell, district health officer, and Dr. Roy O. Gilbert, county health officer."
