In the background at center, two upholstered chairs flank a small coffee table holding several magazines and two ashtrays. To the far left, two larger sofas can be seen beside a larger coffee table. In the corner, a lamp is visible beside the large curtains that cover the windows. Along the wall at right, a large stone fireplace can be seen. A wire mesh covers the opening of the fireplace, while three wooden panels can be seen along the stone wall. In the extreme background at right, a large painting depicting a city scene sits above another sofa. Carpet covers the entire floor.
