Description
"Houtkloof, Aussenplatz von Elim." ("Houtkloof, outpost of Elim."). On the right a big building with a thatched roof, to all appearances a church building. In front of it two trees and probably a wooden board. In the center a couple of people. In the background a few other houses and a mountain. Apart from some trees the landscape consists of very low vegetation. Imprinted on the image: "Houtkloof. S.A.W. No.248." ("Houtkloof. S[outh] A[frica] W[est] No.248.").
