Jones Sr., president of the International Guiding Eyes, Inc., in North Hollywood, said today the Lockheed Employes [sic] Buck-of-the-Month Club has voted to sponsor four dogs again this year...The Buck-of-the-Month Club sponsored four dogs last year. Among these was one that went to Peter Gallejos, a Sioux Indian who lives in Pacoima with his wife and children, and whose earning power was nipped off when a hit-run driver killed the guide dog he had before. International Guiding Eyes, with offices at 5501 Lankershim Blvd., depends entirely on voluntary contributions to carry on its program of providing dogs for the blind."
