Description
Photograph of a public library in Watsonville, ca.1900. The dark, double doors of the library stand at center guarded by thick columns at the top of a wide, rounded staircase. The columns support a stone rooftop which reads "Public Library" above dark, rectangular windows which sit on either side of the doors. The brick library extends to either side with tall, rectangular windows with thick, stone borders in the walls. A raised, paved sidewalk borders the library along the side of the two streets which intersect in front of the library's entrance at center. Part of a lightly-colored, wooden structure can be seen on the far right.
