Description
Interhueman, 1997; Acrylic, 31’ x 33’. Exterior of Y Tower, Mead Hall (dormitory). Created by Paul Botello with students, faculty and staff in May 1997. Addresses the themes of race, color, and unity. During the creation of the mural, Botello also taught a class on “Murals, World Wall Art.” Next to Botello's mural are som student murals along dormitory balconies. A mural on top depicts a row of heads, while the mural below is a portrait of Che Guevara.
