Description
This circa 1930 postcard shows the California State Library and Courts Building, located at M Street, between Ninth and Tenth streets. The State Library, along with the construction of the opposite State Office Building Number One, were first considered in 1911, but the advent of the First World War, suspended both funding and planning. Both structures were finally opened in 1928.
