Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Photograph article dated December 18, 1964 reads, "The holiday motto for children of members of the Woodland Hills Junior Woman's Club and their friends this season is 'to give is more blessed than to receive.' For when the children gathered for their annual Christmas party they brought gifts and food for Santa to give the less fortunate. The items will go to the needy family adopted by the club. Mrs. Charles Monteleone, youth committee chairman, was in charge of the party, held at the Shadow Ranch Park Clubhouse, Canoga Park, and planned decorations around a 'Candyland' theme. The children heard Christmas stories read, sang carols, broke a pinata and were served refreshments." Photograph caption reads, "The pinata is finally broken." See images 00154856 through 00154860 for all photos in this series.
