Site in Wādi Sheikh 'Alī where the Coptic graffiti in red paint are at the left under the overhanging wall of the cliff. Munīr al-Qamṣ Basīlīyūs 'Abd al-Masīḥ reported that he had been told by a cousin, Abuna Mankarios of Dishnā, that many Coptic and Pharaonic antiquities have been found at this site. The disturbed condition of the ground under the overhanging wall of the cliff would tend to suggest that digging had been done where the graffiti are located, which would of course be a logical place for anyone to dig.
