Program for preview opening celebration of Continuing Traditions: Japanese Americans Story of a People 1869-1992 curated by Wayne Maeda at the Sacramento History Museum on February 15, 1992.
George Oki (Nisei), born March 9, 1927 to Magoichi and Masayo (nee Kamada) Oki in Sacramento, California. He was incarcerated at Pinedale Temporary Assembly Center and Poston II Incarceration Camp. He became a control tower operator in the Army Air Forces Communications System Unit in post-WWII occupied Japan at Itazuke Air Force Base in Kyushu, Japan.
