Description
Photograph of the interior view of the Ebel Club building in Long Beach, 1905. The single story building is made of mostly wood. The exposed roof structure, made of logs, gives the room the look and feel of it being like a wharf or inside a wooden vessel. Nets span across the principal rafters in the roof structure. Dozens of light bulbs, held up by chains, dangle artfully from the skeletal roof structure. The windows on the sides of the building allow light to pierce through its thin curtains and on to the wooden floor. Two sets of stairs flank the stage where a piano and several chairs are in view.
