Description
Annotation translation: "The Chinese has usually no time and no money, when someone dies, to make a proper grave. In such a case the coffin lies simply at the side of the road or in a field. A small house is then built for it of clay bricks and covered with a tiled roof. A coffin can lie like this for years, till a favourable time for burial comes and the family has enough money. Then the 'old bones' can be properly buried."
