Description
Engraved white metal Past Master's breast jewel given to Edward P. Cressy by the brethren of California Lodge No. 1, December 27, 1888 (St. John the Evangelist Day). Compasses extended to 60 degrees on a quadrant. Yellow sun with piercing eyes in center. Jewel is suspended from blue ribbon decorated with two silver bars. Top bar is inscribed: "E.P.C." Second bar is inscribed "Cala", along with a rectangle--the old symbol for "lodge" Etched on reverse: Presented to Past Master Edward P. Cressy by California Lodge No. 1 F&AM December 27th 1888
