View of the California Incline, Beach Road, houses and clubs on beach with the Santa Monica Pier and La Monica Ballroom at the end of it, in distance in Santa Monica, California. Palisades Park is on the bluff at left. Railroad tracks can be seen running along the beach road, below.
This is a copy negative (a photograph of another photograph). Title from envelope as it was received; date devised by cataloger based on the history of the Beach Road and the Santa Monica Pier. The Beach Road eventually becomes the Pacific Coast Highway.
