Photograph of an eastward view of Third Street from Normandie Avenue in Los Angeles, 1900. The unpaved road runs from the foreground to the background at right and is deeply marked by wheel ruts. Utility poles line both sides of the street, and a stand of trees can be seen at the end of the road in the background. At right, the Briggs Company/ Kingsboro Building can be seen on a hill next to the road.
