Description
Photograph of a view of the Ville de Paris (Dyas) dry good and sporting goods store being built on the southeast corner of Seventh Street and Olive Street, 1920-1930. The six-story department store is at center and has wooden scaffolding around its perimeter. The building itself is made of brick. There is no glass in the windows. A covered walkway runs along the base of the buildings, and several large wagons and trucks are parked on the street at left. Several high-rise apartment or office buildings can be seen in the background at left.
