Description
Photograph of two men on a slipper-shaped boat near a dock in China, ca.1900. The boat is pictured at center, moving towards the left. One of the men, who is dressed in a dark coat, propells it with a long pole. The other stands on the bow with his hands in his pockets. In the right background, a group of unmanned boats can be seen docked together. The dock fills the background, people crossing over a bridge at center.
