Description
Photograph of oil wells, showing construction on a pipeline, ca.1930. Two men in coveralls and hats work on top of a concrete-protected pipeline which extends from the foreground on the left to the background on the right. The pipeline lies at the bottom of a large crevasse and the discarded earth stand in a long pile across the left edge of the ground above. A small, wooden structure stands in at center in the background with a crane just in front reaching over the large trucks and workers on the right. A row of derricks begins just beyond the hill of dirt on the left and continues into the distance on the right.
