Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Hope Street side of the Los Angeles Public Library, March 15, 1927. The tall, light-colored building is at center. Massive rectangular windows are visible on the first two stories of the structure, and a thick tower with a pointed roof protrudes from the center. The roof of the tower is covered with a tile mosaic. A person can be seen standing near the door of the building on street level at center. A "No Parking" sign can be seen at left near a fire hydrant. The words "Letters", "Philosophy", "MCMXXV", "Statecraft", "The Arts", and "Science" appear across the top of the building.
