Description
Two woman are depicted standing in an interior. The woman on the left wears a gray hat with yellow plumes, pink flowers, and white lace. Her dress is gray with a narrow v-neck and long sleeves. There are bands of yellow at the collar, cuffs, and near the hem of the skirt. The dress has double row of buttons on the bodice down to the hips. The skirt has a train and is edged with pleats. Above the pleats are two rows of ruffles, centered with the yellow band. The overskirt and hem of the bodice have rows of bobble fringe, with four rows of small pompoms. The woman on the right wears a black hat with bright blue ribbon and plumes. Her dress is black with long sleeves and a small train. The skirt has elaborate asymmetrical draping at the back with fringe and ruching, and two large bright blue bows as accents.
