Sample plot in Redwood second growth, on a bench above Big River, two miles below Boyle's Camp. 48 (65?) years old, consisting mainly of root and stump sprouts with some old growth left. Measured up over 100,000 board feet per acre, which included about 20,000 board feet of old growth. Laid out and measured by Metcalf and Fritz. June 1921. See also 1646 and 1647.
