This is a vintage print signed, titled, and dated in pencil by the artist on verso; artist's wet stamp also on verso. The extensive portfolio of photographic artist Carol Westwood (1942-2011), a native New Yorker who lived in Los Angeles for many years, includes a diverse array of subjects: animals, nudes, American and European cities, and portraits. Additionally, she worked on special and still photography for numerous motion picture and television productions in Hollywood; the archive of her entertainment and celebrity images was distributed internationally by Gamma, Liaison International, Stone Images, and Getty images from 1988-2003. A woman waits at a bus stop near the intersection of Beverly Boulevard and Western Avenue. A sign placed outside by the deli (background) advertises a "Hamberger Special, 1/4 lbs. Berger, French Fris, 1 14 oz. Cock or Sprit, 2.79."
