Photograph dated November 14, 1964 reads, "San Fernando halfback Bill Persons (44) is stopped cold after a short gain against Sylmar. Applying the tackle are Spartans' Chris Whittenberg (76), Bob Brown (40) and Bob Fusano (87). The Tigers' Steve Kennedy (86) sits out the play. Sylmar knocked San Fernando out of a tie for the title with a 22-7 victory at Sylmar Friday afternoon."
