Description
"Blick von Moravian Hill auf Kapstadt u. den Hafen." ("View from Moravian Hill of Cape Town a[nd] the harbor."). In the foreground houses which stress across the picture until the middle. Behind them probably the harbor. In the foreground of the picture trees or bushes. Imprinted on the image: "1707."
Photography faded. -- The harbor is not visible anymore due to the partial destruction of the photo by light. -- Moravian Hill was a congregation in District Six, now called Zonnebloem.
