Photograph article dated September 2, 1958 partially reads, "The Rev. Royal G. Davis, former minister of the Houlton, Maine, Congregational and Unitarian Church, will conduct his first services Sept. 21 as the newly called minister of the Emerson Unitarian Fellowship, Canoga Park. Prior to his Houlton ministry the Rev. Mr. Davis was assistant pastor at Doremus Congregational Church, Chicago, interim pastor for the Church of Wide Fellowship at Southern Pine,, N.C., and student pastor at Welsh Congregational, Audenreid, Pa."
