Hand-colored postcard image shows view looking north up Broadway across Eighth Street, with the 12-story Los Angeles Investment Building (later the Chapman Building and Morosco Theatre) at right, and the Barker Bros. furniture building further up Broadway. The Garrick Theater, demolished in 1927, is visible in the lower right corner. Streetcars and automobiles are visible along Broadway, with pedestrians filling the sidewalks.
