Photograph caption dated August 12, 1959 reads, "Plans for North Hollywood Chamber of Commerce sponsored off-street parking lots, which are scheduled to be opened around Christmas, are gone over at board meeting of chamber by B. S. Hand, left, chamber president; city councilman, Lemoine Blanchard, center, and Charles W. Crawshaw, right, member of chamber's parking committee. Crawshaw said there will be spaces for 320 cars and with maximum one-hour parking, lots could accommodate 2,632 cars per day."
